How will this affect the way buyer and seller agents will paid
- The National Association of Realtors (NAR) alleged the group violated antitrust laws and colluded to fix commission rates charged to the sellers when selling their
- The National Association of Realtors (NAR) along with other real estate companies (defendants), were found guilty and ordered, pending approval, to pay 8 billion dollars in damages.

New changes will require:
- A requirement that is between the Buyer’s agent and buyer(s) be signed prior to showing homes with a fee paid to agent
- Elimination of offers of compensation paid by the sellers to buyer’s agents on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS).
- Agents will now be more transparent to their buyers and their fees.
- Buyer Agents will for the first time have to negotiate their commission and have a signed contract before showing any homes.
